Cereus Blooms at Night

On an island in the Caribbean, Mala Ramchandin, a crazy woman suspected of murder, is declared unfit to stand trial and is committed to a home. She is placed in the care of Tyler, a vivacious male nurse who becomes her confidant and the storyteller of her life.
